Why Us

We’re Built For A New Era

Sovos Brands transforms high potential brands into successful category leaders.

Consumers are shopping small and opting for artisanal, high-quality products. This desire for authenticity has led to enthusiasm for small, premium brands, which are now outpacing mass consumer packaged brands. In anticipation of this shift, Sovos Brands CEO Todd Lachman set out to build a portfolio that delights today’s consumers and unleashes next-level growth.

What we look for.

Premium brands.

Products that taste delicious.

Focus on Quality

Rich stories that have yet to be told.

How we do it.

It starts with an amazing product.

It starts with an amazing product. The foundation of our growth strategy is based on partnering with brands that make incredible products. So, it should come as no surprise that Michael Angelo’s and Rao’s Homemade were first to join our family – both of which have an unwavering commitment to making authentic, delicious food. Next, noosa yoghurt joined the portfolio – a brand dedicated to using high-quality ingredients, starting with fresh whole milk.

We disrupt the way consumer brands go to market.

We utilize industry know-how to bring our brands’ rich heritage to more people in a fresh way. Michael Angelo’s is a perfect example: despite the brand’s remarkable history, awareness was low. So we brought the brand’s story to life with new packaging, smarter branding, and a digital-first approach that nodded to their traditional recipes.

Winning leadership team.

Our team of seasoned executives has led some of the most respected consumer packaged goods companies in the world. Our brands benefit from their deep industry expertise and fresh ways of thinking.

Backed by the best.

With the backing of Advent International, one of the world’s leading private equity firms, our brands get the resources they need to thrive.

We get results.
